It's quite a while since I have left a concert on a high but last night's performance
at the Sydney Opera House by Lisa Budin gave me just that.The excellent aspect of her singing-for me - is that Lisa has the same purity and beauty of tone as
Karen Carpenter but she does it her way.
After all,the particular performance is ' remembering '.
In the 1970's I enjoyed attending a concert by Karen and Richard Carpenter  in Sydney.
That musical event left a lasting impression on me but I have to say that
sitting listening intently to Lisa last night,I was given the same joy.There was nothing missing ! Congratulations Lisa and also to that wonderful group of musicians.

Lisa's performance was spectacular. She had the whole package, talent, charisma,
elegance and she was close up and personal with her audience, providing a very entertaining evening for us all.
Her voice sent chills up my spine as I thought I was listening to Karen Carpenter. I will certainly be going to her next concert.

Lisa preformed my first daughters wedding.  She was fantastic.  Not only did she sing to perfection added that touch of class and made our day extra special..

  You only have to close your eyes and it's as though Karen Carpenter is in the room singing, It's amazing.  Lisa brought this group of musicians together and they truly re -create the sound of 
 
    " The Carpenters "  The only thing she needs is Richard himself hopefully one day it may be possible. Most enjoyable and I will be at the next show..

   What a great time I had at the Opera House , Lisa's voice captured the whole room
  what a talent so natural and  " pitch perfect ".
  I loved every minute and will look forward to the next performance at the Opera House.
   I will be in the front row !!! Also a big thank you to all her wonderful band members
 who were just amazing..
